Hdd full???

my brother has a mbp with a 500gbhe said i was full so i took control of his mbp with team viewer and looked at his hdd he only has 10gb of music and 100gb of film and 350gb of other any idea what this is and how i can clear it down he has no photos or documents. he downloads from torrent sites a lot thought and ideas what i can do

Other is anything that isn't covered in the other categories (audio, video, photos, apps or backups). It's very possible that he has a lot of content that doesn't fall into those categories especially if he downloads a lot. You'll need to get him to tell you what he has on his machine.

i'd check out the trash as well - a friend one day had the problem and we discovered after an hour of searching where her GBs had gone ;-)
