Hi,

New to Mac but finding my way around well, however having trouble installing fonts.

I downloaded two .ttf files from dafont.com. Opened in font book, clicked install, looks like they are installing but then they don't show up in font book.

Is there something I'm missing? Is there something wrong with these particular files?

Thanks.

Fonts that you install will be added to your user font folder. Look for them in:

MacIntosh HD/Users/your user name/Library/Fonts/

Note: If you're running Lion, the user library folder is hidden by default. In order to "see" the library folder do this...

Open Finder. Highlight your user name, and then click on "Go" from the top menu. Now click on "Go to Folder", now enter Library.

Thanks. They were not displayed in the font folder, but after opening the library, I just copied and pasted the .ttf files to the font folder. Worked great.
