Hello all! Ive been working on this for the past few days with no resolution. I thought it would be easy, was I wrong.

I am trying to connect a Dlink DNS-320 to my Airport Extreme via Ethernet.

My Airport Extreme is connected wirelessly to my UVERSE Router 3801HGV.

I wanted to use my DNS-320 for Time Machine.

I was using the DNS-320 for Time Machine connecting via ethernet to the 3801HGV router and it worked fine. Just a little slow.

So I decided I wanted to move it and connect it to my airport extreme.

Turns out this was a bit harder than I anticipated. The DNS-320 does not show up when connected to the airport extreme.

I connect it via ethernet to the 3801HGV and it appears.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

OK so I tried a few things. As stated before if I connect the DNS-320 to my UVERSE 3801HGV via ethernet I can use the drive for time machine.

I also tried connecting it to an airport express via ethernet and I can see and use the drive just the same.

So the issue seems to be with the NAS communicating with the airport extreme.
