Contact Apple, or schedule an appointment with Genius Bar. You'll have to format unless you have the root account enabled and I doubt you do or you'd be able to fix it.

How to change your Admin password without the disk.

Note! Make sure you have backups of all your data and programs because the above procedure will create a new Admin account and password. You will not have access to your old account.

Another option is to buy a new install disk. Make sure it's a retail version or have Apple send you replacement disks for your model Mac.

props on that link – I didn't think he wanted to lose the data – which with that method he will.

unless he knows how to back it up.
