Safari

So my MacBook Pro with OS Snow Leopard 10.7.3 has been running ver slowly lately. Whenever I open about 7-10 tabs on Safari at the same time, a lot of time Safari freezes for a bit. In addition, opening Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is slow too. Is there anything I can do to speed up my computer a bit ?

How much RAM do you have? And are you running Snow Leopard 10.6 or Lion 10.7?

I have 4GB RAM and running Lion 10.7 (sorry for the mistake).

My Safari is still very slow. I feel like the my whole laptop is slowing down. I am not sure how to improve the speed a bit. Any suggestion ?

Does that mean you went through the list in that link? If so, what did you learn?
