It means you're trying to run a program (probably Intel only) that is not supported on a PPC Mac which you have.

That is what I thought. So I think this one will go to the teenage nephew, cause I was just checking out a new mac on the Apple site. Any suggestions? I want to use parallels to migrate my pc laptop over and run those programs on it.

I think the iMac is, overall, the most awesome desktop machine a person who doesn't have very specialized needs could possibly get. The thing is just incredible in every aspect.
