Using Lion on mid 2010 iMac. Moved some back-up files from external Time machine backup disc to my desktop Trash file to free up space on the external disc.
Empty Trash or Secure Empty Trash won't empty the trash. Can't get rid of the files.
Putting them back where they came from doesn't work.
Shut down or restart doesn't help. The files won't go away. They have size of 326kb or so.
They have files in them. Can't get rid of ANYTHING!
Removed and replaced the disc they came from. No help.
How can I rid myself of these pesky files?
