I'm looking into revamping the old gal and was wondering.. is there any way I can upgrade from 10.4.11 to a new OS without losing all my programs? I purchased and (within multiple moves) lost the install discs for:
CS3 Creative Suite
FCP Studio 2
Logic 7
so you could understand if I can't get a replacement it would be quite costly...
If I can order new install discs (and an XSKey) I will but if there's a way to avoid it I would appreciate it. Is there a way to save my programs AND upgrade the OS?
A little side note: The tower has two hard drives inside of it and I don't know if the OS is on the same hard drive as the programs but if they were different would it be safe to upgrade, or would I have to wipe both hard drives?
