Simple (silly?) question about Application dock icon

I've had a 2010 Macbook Pro for over a year. The Application folder icon on my dock is an actual blue folder with the Application watermark on it.

I just bought and set up a 2011 iMac. The Application folder on this shows a brown book icon with an "a" on it.

Why the difference, and can I make them the same?

That's not the Application folder icon, it's the icon for the "Address Book".

OK, I just realized what's happening..... Right click on that icon and then select "Name", "Folder", "List", under the "Sort By" title. And you'll have your Application Folder back. :)

Actually, I think you want to select "Display as... Folder"

That works too but my method assures the sort is correct and displays as a clean list rather than all over the desktop in grid form.

Your method must be something new to Lion. I don't even have most of those options in Leopard.

Yeah, sorry... using Lion. I forgot that you're still using Leopard. :p

That was to me. I'm still using Leopard.
