Skype seems to be the tech world's newest darling. Are you use it or do you not?

Nah.

Good old BT :flower:

But then my folks are not exactly technically competent and even if they were I don't think I'd use it anyway (call me old fashioned!)

Are I use it? No I can't say that I are.

I never have used it myself, because I don't have the badwidth at my home, but one of my co-workers from the UK uses it to phone home and likes it quite alot. I think its a good idea and when I can afford broad band I'll probably use it.

I've used it a few times just to mess around with it, but I prefer the phone (lots of free minutes) or iChat.

Does it cost anything? and u need the camera too to fully use it? Can you call a regular phone Number? or no? Pretty interesting

It is free and you get a screen name. You can call regular phones but it costs money to do that

whoa! this sounds cool! does this mean you can see and speak to someone that also uses it? is it a smooth picture or is it a consistant picture or is it delayed? can you use it with dialup?

It also allows you to make outbound regular calls at great rates, especially international rates. iChat can't do that yet...but I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen eventually.
