Will this HDD work

I have a early 2011 MacBook Pro 13inch, and am thinking of replacing the existing hard drive with this one: Western Digital Caviar 3TB SATA 6 GB/s 64MB Cache 3.5 inch OEM Internal Hard Drive Green: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories
Will it work?
I am also thinking of using this to replace my disk drive with a SSD: hardwrk | SATA adapter kit for MacBook (Pro)

What SSD would you recommend to use, I am looking for the best SSD under €200!

No. A 3.5" HDD is for a desktop machine. Laptops use a 2.5" drive so check out the user guide. Best SSD IMHO is an OWC Mercury Electra and for that money you will get at least a 240GB drive. Buy direct from OWC at Woodstock and air mail it, not from a UK reseller.

You have the same problem we do here Down Under. Prices soar when resellers get into the act.

OWC ships world wide. Make sure you find out the cost and whatever VAT you have to pay first. As far as a replacement drive goes....

SATA 2.5" wide by 9.5mm in height is what you need. As long as the drive meets those specs it should work.

Yes that RAM will work, and at $109 for 16GB of RAM, that's not a bad price. I paid $50 for 8GB about a year ago.
