Codec-m

I had recently accidentally downloaded codec-m. Im aware its not beneficial to have it on my macbook. I have managed to get rid of it through the trash and emptied my trash. Does this mean that codec-m is gone from my mac for good?

Please help!

codec-m is considered malware by many and is often picked up at certain torrent sites. If it still remains in Preference and Library folders, download and run Trash It!
