I really like Onyx for my Mac maintenance. In what order should I run the features in Onxy? To give an example using Windoz...one would delete 50GB of unwanted music/photo files THEN perform a defrag. Am I complicating something that is so simple and straightforward to everyone else? I just want the clean up and maintenance process to be performed in the most effective manner. Do I do the cleanings and all before the verifies and repairs? I am at work on a Windoz box so I cannot be more specific with my questioning.

I find that just running the Automation tasks is enough to ensure a healthy Mac. Just leave the browser cache one unchecked, as shown, and hit execute. I wouldn't have thought you'd need to do a defrag.

Yeah, that's the way I would approach it on a Mac as well. Macs don't need to be defragged very often, some say not at all. I use TechTool Pro, which will tell me how fragmented things are and let me decide to skip Optimizing or proceed. I probably execute it a couple of times a year.

Thank guys...I was just using the Windoz defrag as part of the example. I was on a work computer and couldn't remember all the features shown in Chuckoir's screen shot above.
