I've been thinking of getting rid of my imac G5 and getting a powerbook. Really all I use the imac for is web surfing and basic internet useage. I've been thinking of getting selling it for a powerbook for the portability and space saving. Any comments?

I've never seen the point in even having a desktop if you don't do heavy duty video or audio editing.

Get a 15" Powerbook. I own the 12" and it's too small, hurts my eyes. It's incredibly portable, but so is the 15".

I would get the Powerbook.

If thats all you do, going from a 17in iMac to a 15in Powerbook wouldn't be bad. Why not get an iBook?

The speed change would be slightly more drastic, the resolution is the same on the iMac and the PB, and the 14" iBook weighs more.
