• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Audio Problems in iMovie.

There have been some well documented problems with adjusting the duration of still photos in iMovie to get them to fit the music. It's taken me ages to get it right and it was more by good luck than anything else. But my main problem is that not all my music shows up in the music selection panel in iMovie. I have stuff I want to use and it's definitely in iTunes but it doesn't show up and when I do the search in iMovie it won't find it either. Just about half of my music, and it's not a lot all told, shows up in the selection panel. It's driving me bonkers.
Where is it all hiding?

You can always drag and drop straight from iTunes into iMovie.

Welcome. This is really an iMovie question and not iDvd. Strongly recommend you post to the iMovie forum also since iDvd cannot be used to edit audio / a playlist whereas iTunes will. So will GB, QT Pro, and iMovie.
