Just changed my passwords (which I had forgotten) from my startup disk, and now I have have two copies of my user account, one which appears to be tied to the new password, and the other to the old. Do I now delete the old user account tied to the original (and now forgotten) password, or do I just leave it? I was thinking of deleting it, but I just wanted to make sure and doublecheck that by doing so I wouldn't be screwing anything up.

Before deleting the old account, make sure everything is showing up in the new one - your apps, documents, etc. If not, copy them over before removing the old account.
