Is there any possible way to do this? I have purchased a legit copy of Windows 7 online, but I cannot use any disks because my CD drive is broken. Bootcamp assistant won't take me any further then "The installer disc could not be found." :(

G'day and welcome to the forums.

If you print and read Bootcamp Assistant Guidelines calls for an inbuilt optical drive. And you do have to download drivers and burn to a CD. Time for a new optical drive.

Actually you need a DVD drive (not CD) as Windows 7 comes on a DVD disc.
The Boot Camp drivers can be saved to CD or a USB drive with at least 512 MB of free space.

Doubtless he is using the expression 'CD drive' generically and MacBooks etc do come with DVD drives.
