Is there any possible way to do this? I have purchased a legit copy of Windows 7 online, but I cannot use any disks because my CD drive is broken. Bootcamp assistant won't take me any further then "The installer disc could not be found."
If you print and read Bootcamp Assistant Guidelines calls for an inbuilt optical drive. And you do have to download drivers and burn to a CD. Time for a new optical drive.
Actually you need a DVD drive (not CD) as Windows 7 comes on a DVD disc.
The Boot Camp drivers can be saved to CD or a USB drive with at least 512 MB of free space.
