Hi,
Forgive me if this has been covered already, I have looked elsewhere on the forum, and carried out general web searches but Im stumped now.
I took an old G4 power PC off a friends hands, so that I could have a little tinker with different OS (I don't want to do any damage to my macbook!) so I tried to install another OS, and in doing so I think I may have completely wiped out the whole system. I cant even remember what I actually did, but it involved the partitions, I thought I was wiping a separate partition that I created to install (Linux), cos i bottled out and started to get out of my depth.
so now when i turn the machine on i get a grey screen with an alternating world/file/question mark.
I dont have any install discs for this machine, so can I do anything to get it back to a usable state?
any help anyone can give would be so much appreciated.
