G4 imac ide cable replacements

Hi there
I recently bought a G4 imac that had its harddrive removed for data protection purposes.
Unfortunately they took the ide cable with it and this is a very short cable which seems to be hard to source.
I tried a short ide cable from a g3 powermac but its too short! It needs to be about 4-5"
If anyone knows exactly that would be brilliant!
I also know you can make them by modifying another cable, but i dont really have the confidence to successfully modify an 80 pin ide cable
Anyone have any other ideas/advice or a source of short ide cables?
