itunes stops playing songs

Just wondering if anyone else is/has experienced a problem with itunes just randomly stop playing music, not paused or anything, just stops, doesn't even show any scrolling of the progress of the song....pretty much goes dead, but the weird thing is that it is still completely usable, like i can click on another song, but that song will not play. I can use the toolbars and even access the music store. Does anyone know a fix for this? I have the latest version of itunes too. Thank You ahead of time!!

it also started w/ my ipod too, pretty much does the same thing, but i am able to fix it by pressing buttons and then it starts playing again w/ no problem until it bugs out again.....PLEASE ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX OR SOLVE THE PROBLEM?!?!
