Hi there, a friend of mine has a little green/red meter on the top right tool bar of his macbook pro (running snow leopard) which shows how much data is being uploaded and how much is being downloaded when visiting websites. Ive got a pro running Lion and was wondering if its possible for me to get this? And how I would do it?

Check Activity Monitor in the Utilities folder. I think that has an option to do that.

More likely, it is a product called iStat Menus from Bjango

Bjango Mac apps

Have a look. .....I believe there are quite some members using this.
Alternatively, send your friend an E-mail and simply ask what product it is -_-

I was mistaken before. It's Little Snitch I was thinking of, not Activity Monitor.
