How to cancel updating apps in iPod

Learning my apps in my iPod need some updates, I clicked the 'update all' icon in apple store . Now, all apps that needed the update are in waiting mode and I cannot use them. They're so many I do not know when it will end updating... Is there a way to cancel the started update?
