New to Disk Utility, Verify Disk.. Screenshot attached... Please help.

What version of OSX is this? Do you have the OSX DVD that shipped with your Mac if this is not Lion?
Are you running Disk Utility from inside OSX or from the Install DVD?

In order to repair the disk you need to boot from your install DVD and run Disk Utility from it. If you're running Lion, boot to the Recovery partition and select Disk Utility. Either way use Disk Utility to make the repairs.
You won't lose data, however, always make a backup first. You should be making backups regularly anyway.

And you should be running a backup when things are going good. There may be a chance the drive has/is failing. What does S.M.A.R.T Status say when is Disk Utility? Verified or Failing?
