Backing up iTunes Library

I'm moving from a 12" to a 15" Powerbook and need an easy way to keep all of my Playlists, Folders, and Song Info intact while still exporting them to an External HD.

Does iTunes have a built in way to do this?

Not a built in way, but a very easy way none the less. Just copy your Music/iTunes folder to the external drive and then move it to your new computer. Open iTunes and it should all be there.
