Whenever I turn my airport on and click on the airport icon on my toolbar I always pick up a nearby wireless network which I don't want to join. I've deleted it from Network preferences but its still keeps on popping up on the airport list. Can anyone help.

There is no way to have it not appear. Your airport card just finds all networks within range. It doesn't hurt anything by leaving it there.

You could always set your preferences to NOT automatically pick up networks, but that could turn out to be a bigger hassle than its worth. Still, schweb is right, leaving it there is not doing any harm. Its best to let sleeping dogs lie :black:
