I own a 2009 MBP (so no chance of taking off any components)
4GB of RAM and I think it's 2.53Ghz
So I had left my MBP on my desk and it was running some streams (MLG), it had been running streams for about the last 3 hours I'd say and it was starting to make some noise and heat up a little bit. Suddenly it completely shut off.
I let it cool down for about 30 minutes and tried to turn it back on but to no success.
I tried turning it back on without a power supply and it would just make a brief "pshit" noise and nothing would happen.
I then tried to reset the system management controller (Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)) and nothing happened, i'm not even sure if I did it right
3 minutes ago I tried again and it turned on, the apple logo came on and the little wheel started to spin but then it turned back off.
Any help?
EDIT: oh and the horizontal light turns on everytime i press the power button
Thanks in advance for any help.
