Xerox printer install troubles

I'm new to MacOSX so apologies if this is a silly question with an obvious answer.
I'm currently running 10.6.8 and am trying to install a Xerox Workcentre 3119 printer.
I downloaded the latest driver, and it installed no problem.
When I go to the add printer window it is not on the default list, and the "print using" list (where I presume I could select the driver) is greyed out.
What should I do next?
Help would be much appreciated.

You really need the full installer, not just the driver, and it is easier also if you have the ip address of the printer, well that's the case with the larger 7000 series workcenters

If its anything like the Xerox we have, then you install with the full installer, and if at the end it doesn't see your printer then you have the option of entering the printers IP address to finish the installation
