I'm relatively new to Mac OS X. I'm a software engineer by trade, so I've been trying to install things that probably are not standard for most people and I'm concerned that I may have corrupted my system.
Whenever I click on "About this Mac..." -> "More Info...", the System Profiler opens up. I can click on all of the options along the left except one: Extensions. When I click that one, it idles for about 15 seconds (complete with spinning ball) and then everything closes. Granted, this beats a BSoD, but it's worrisome nonetheless.
Any advice you can give me to get to the bottom of this?
