I am getting this error message when in GarageBand (the version that comes with iLife 09):

'GarageBand has detected a possible conflict between one or more third party MIDI or audio drivers.
Be sure to install the latest drivers for all audio and MIDI equipment connected to your computer. For instructions on removing older drivers, consult the manufacturers' documentation.'

I also have installed Protools LE 7.1 with a DigiDesign MBox2 Mini interface and I suspect the above problem is to do with this.

I have tried to uninstall Protools etc but this has had made no improvement.

Does anyone know how to get around this please?

many thanks

You have to uninstall ProTools properly, using the ProTools UnInstaller, or it's not going to work.

Thanks chas_m. What if I want to have Protools and GarageBand installed? Doesn't seem like an unreasonable request to me, it's not as if I want to run them at the same time.
