I can access and open shared folders/files in my Windows 7 PC over the network from my Mac running "Lion". However, if I create a new folder in either Windows or Mac and put a file in it, the folder is only seen in the computer that created it, despite being hosted in the Windows PC.

Am I missing some way of "updating" or "refreshing" the Mac's access to the Win 7 PC?

Ignore that! It was my stupidity - I have the folder in the PC's hard drive and periodically sync'd with the same folder in an external drive. The PC was accessing the internal copy and the Mac was accessing the external drive. :Blushing:

All is working as it should.
