Mac - large and fast ;)
Hello,

All of our iPods and iPads and laptops work well on our wireless network. Never ever had a problem.

Cue up the new iPod and my daughter can't access our home network - with the very same password all the other items use. I checked via the Keychain access and the correct password is still in place. In other words, what works for many doesn't work for one.

So, any ideas? All responses much appreciated.

How many devices do you have on dhcp? Depending on router you may have hit a limit. Also is any MAC filtering on?

Only four, full time.

Also, I have had more on in the past. The only difference was a move.

But still - the keychain tells me the password to access the network. It's not been changed since install 4 years ago.

No to filtering.

Solved.
Rather than "believing" the keychain access pw - I checked via the router's online access pages (LinkSys - best in the biz, great support) and discovered the 'real' pw for access to the network.

Seconds later, allllll good.

Thanks for the help.
