Optimizing my system

I plan on getting Diablo 3 when it comes out (hopefully) soon and I'd like optimizing my system before then to get it running better, specifically the memory. The minimum requirements for the game say I need 2 GB memory, which I have, but I didn't realize so much of that is being used already. With Activity Monitor and Finder the only programs running, it says I'm using 1.15-1.19 GB. Does that sound like a normal memory usage? Here's the list of processes Activity Monitor gave me.

Do you see anything on there I can get rid of? I'll probably upgrade to 4 GB memory soon, but I'd still like to remove any unnecessary processes if possible.

Just upgrade the ram...and you'll be fine. Assuming your MacBook also meets at least the minimum system requirements for Diablo 3 in all other areas (cpu & gpu).

Yeah, the video card is getting pretty old, but it's barely enough to work for the game and it's build into the system so I can't upgrade it.

So it's normal for the Finder to be using about 1 GB by itself?

Finder, according to the values you listed, is only using about 38MB of memory.

When system requirements list memory values, it doesn't mean that it will use all of it. For instance, if a game lists 2GB, it won't used 2GB (it couldn't since the OS itself needs memory). While it wouldn't hurt to upgrade the memory, you should be fine running the game without doing so (you might want to close everything first though).
