iPhone 3GS wont come on

I jailbroke a iPhone 3Gs using Redsn0w for ios 5.0.1, after I jailbroke I acciedently hit update software in General in the setting. It went to the Itunes recovery screen. I used Redsn0w recovery fix and it went off, and wouldnt come on. After putting it into DFU mode it went to a dimmed black screen then to a green screen sometimes the apple will appear but it just flashes a white screen and goes off and does it all over again.

I've tried to recover it with iTunes but I got an Error Code.
What can I do to fix this?

try restoring it using itunes with the iPhone in DFU mode.
