safari wont load certain webpages

This is a new problem that started yesterday... certain webpages, such as facebook, wont load. it reads "safari cant display this webpage." ive tried restarting, quitting, and reseting.

I recently deleted a bunch of files of my mac to make more space on the disk but i dont think i deleted anything that could have affected safari?

please help!

Download Chrome or Firefox and see if you have the same issues. That'll give use an idea about whether Safari is at fault or whether it's a connection/network type issue

i downloaded firefox and all websites load just fine.....

Ok, try downloading and reinstalling Safari,
