Help please! Internet on MacBook Pro intermittently SO slow...

My MacBook Pro internet/email so slow, while our iMac desktop and MacBook Air are all fast. We are all on the Airport Extreme wireless router with Comast service. Speed Test results are:
MacBook Pro: download 1.47mbps; upload is 0.74mbps
iMac: download 35.93 mbps; upload is 6.46 mbps
MacBook Air: 34.26 mbps for download and 6.14 mbps for upload.

I have no peripheral devices attached to the MacBook Pro. Any suggestions much appreciated!
