I had an HP Photosmart c4795 printer/scanner. I haven't used it in awhile so I decided to install it into my macbook bro.
My mac downloaded the drivers but it doesn't seem to want to scan. I have it connected via USB.
The screen on the printer says "Scan Error. Try scan from computer or see documentation."
So I decided to download more drivers from the HP website and I got myself HP utility and HP Photosmart studio.
When I try to scan from Photosmart Studio, it says it's looking for devices but it doesn't seem to find my printer. Which is odd, because the HP Utility can find my printer and tell me how much ink I have left.
I tried calling HP but they won't help because my warranty is over.
