• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

This is to those of you that have iMovie on the mac and iPad.

I use iMovie on the mac and am pretty happy with it. Considering getting the app for the iPad. I have a few questions.

The iTunes store tell me I can transfer a project from the iPad to the mac.

1. Is this true?

2. Is the reverse true(transfer from Mac to iPad?)

3. I assume that if I can transfer from the iPad...I can than burn it on Idvd?

4. Are there as many editing functions in the iPad version and the mac version?

I am aware it comes at a relatively inexpensive cost....so I suspect not all of what I ask can happen. Just wanna be sure what I am buying.

Thanks all!
Cheers
