upgrade to ios 5.0.1

is there a way to upgrade my ipod touch from ios 4.3.2 to 5.0.1 since ios 5.1 is out?

Nope. Apple stopped signing 5.0.1, so when you try to install it, it won't get a valid response from the server to check that it was installed properly. You'll either have to leave it or install 5.1.

download ipsw for the firmware
then open iTunes
on windows:
Shift restore
on mac:
fn restore
choose 5.0.1 then update

the sever says there's an error, Rizfiz... i can only upgrade to 5.1 but jailbreak for 5.1 hasn't been released yet
