Hello all, a little new so if this has been covered bear with me, i tried searching for it but i couldn't find it. anyway

just tried upping the RAM on my macbook (3,1) and i ran into some problems..
i've tried several different types and i seem to get the same result
install, throw battery back in, turn computer on... nothing.
right now i have a samsung green DDR2 2GB PC2 in along with one of the original sticks the comupter came with. and thats the only way i've been able to get it to start up.

so the only way it works is: both original sticks, or one new one( no specific brand) and one old one..

any advice???

Way... way too many specs to list.
yea, return the RAM. Ensure that it's the right type. If it's the right type, it should work.

Just go to either:

- Crucial.com
- OWC

...select the correct ram...and it will work fine!:)
