And I like it! My only complaint is, the Mail program now uses symbols instead of boxes that say, "Send," "Reply," "Reply to all," etc. Is there a way I can get the labeled boxes back or am I stuck with the symbols?

I do like it... is there anything else I need to load to complement LION? I had the free version of AVG on my Snow Leopard but uninstalled it before I upgraded. The only "security" app I have on it now is Sophos. I'll appreciate any comments and/or suggestions. Thank you very much for helping this Mac newbie (who will never return to WinDoze land).

Yes, from the View Menu, select Customize Toolbar. Look at the pic below. There is a clicker on the bottom left corner. Your Choices are Text, Icons and Icons and Text. Select that last one and the text will be back.
