Hey guys,

Need a little help here as I’m in a bit of a pickle,

For one of my year 2 university projects I have to create a flash website.

The subject I have chosen to do my website on is popular TV shows; I am concentrating on Lost, House MD and CSI.

My website is called "The Box" and is the first time I have ever used flash so this a huge learning curve for me! (I’m hating flash at the moment but my tutors keep saying that once I learn it I will love it; - we shall see about that one! lol)

Anyhoo, I’m looking to insert some video clips from the shows and incorporate them into the website (the site's going to be a middle ground between a fan site and the actual show site's, of that makes sense??)

Anyways, I'm having real problems finding a program that will rip video from a DVD/downloaded video file and compress it to a nice, manageable size whilst still maintaining some quality.

So I’m begging you guys, if anyone knows anything that could help my cause I would tear my arm off and mail it to you if you can tell me!! Lol
