Hi everyone.

I am looking for a NAS drive that:

1. acts as a Time Machine Backup;

2. has a UPnP/DNLA media server so I can play my itunes library with my mac turned off, through to my hi-fi (which is UPnP compliant);

3. can also be accessed by other machines on the network, such as Win 7 and Linux.

What are the drives on the market that you'd recommend?

Have a look at Buffalo drives. I've had the Linkstation live for a few years now, it does everything you're asking** and more.

** just be aware that if the iTunes content is contains DRM (TV shows, movies etc) you won't be able to play them, but that goes for any solution that doesn't play via iTunes.
