Managing stand alone macbook pros

we are a small business and currently using many cloud-based apps....so, there are no servers to login for authentication.

as an IT admin, is it possible for me to manage these macbooks? i like to do scan to see what apps are install, do an inventory of the entire system (RAM, OS version, hd size, etc)? is there such tool(s) out there that allows me to do an asset management of the macbooks?

please advise. thanks

If you are on the same network you can remote control it if you want. I am not sure of other things besides that.

i do not want to remote into each macbooks and check daily. i want to have some kind of tools/agents that does the scanning each day.
