Remove USB pen drive from iMac

Hi all,

I'm new to the Mac world. Just wanted to know how to proceed to safely remove a pen drive in Mac OSX. It doesn't seem to be documented anywhere or may be I'm looking in the wrong direction.

Several ways to do it:

1. Drag the Pen drive to the Trash.

2. Right click on the drive and select "eject".

3. Select the pen drive icon (ie a single left click) and press the eject button on the keyboard.
