Hey Everyone. Please help me!

I have been working a lot with imovie lately on my boss's 2011 Macbook Pro, it is just over 1 year old.

In the past week, the screen will randomly freeze blue or green after I have been using it for a while. I am unable to do anything but hold the power button down and shut it off.

After I let it rest, it seems to work fine and then boom! It does it again. It is no longer under warranty and we do not have apple care. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.

The pictures of what screen looks like is attached to this post.

Thank you,

JoshuaT

It appears to be a problem with the graphics adapter. If possible, attach an external monitor or TV to the machine to see if the same appears on the external. If it is the GPU that's causing trouble, it will have to be repaired by Apple which could be expensive.
