Media player for exFat

I purchased a adaptor for my mac to display on a TV through and HDMI cord. This only lasted 4 months until it began to fail.

Instead of buying a new one, which could well do the same, I am interested in buying a HD media player which will support my external hard drive which is in exFat format.

Are there any good HD media players which will support exFat format?
