I made a slideshow in iDVD and I want to insert it into a video I am making in iMovie. I then want to post the video on youtube.

I don't know how to get the slideshow from iDVD to iMovie. The only option for saving it in iDVD is to ssave it as a dvdproject and then I can't import it into iMovie.

Any suggestions about how I can do this? I appreciate any help. Thank you. :)

Maybe iPhoto?
That's probably your best way. Make the slideshow in iPhoto, then Share it to iDVD. Or instead of Sharing the Slideshow, you can Export it as a Quicktime movie and then put that into iMovie.

Just curious, but how did you make a slideshow in iDVD?

To make the slideshow in iDVD I selected a theme from the right hand pane. It was a scrapbook there and I dragged my photos into it. Now I don;t know what to do with it. I don't see how I can make a Quicktime movie of it. The file menu doesn't have an export option...

It won't in iDVD. That's not iDVD is for. Use iPhoto in the way I suggested.
