10.8 to 10.7 mail issues

hi i recently downgraded from 10.8 developer preview 1 back to lion by wiping my hard drive with disk utility and migrating from a time machine back up once lion was installed. now that I've done this i cannot get my mail app to open it just repeatedly crashes. any help is appreciated. thanks.

What version of Lion are you running?

I hope you did not try and restore email from 10.8 to 10.7 as I will almost bet $$$ the Mail app in Mountain Lion uses a different format. They have done that many times in the past.
