Reinstall Lion - how do you?

I may have to reinstall my snow leopard. I did have Lion which I paid for and as you know it is a download. How do I reinstall the Lion as I don't want to pay again

i have a hrd drive failure so need a new hard drive so pressing cmd and r is not an option for me
